DNS Setup
Accelerated Domains sits in between your visitor and the origin server in the Servebolt Cloud.
The way this is achieved is by routing the traffic to Accelerated Domains instead of directly to the origin server. Accelerated Domains will then proxy the traffic to the origin server.
How to set up your DNS
There are two ways to configure your DNS for Accelerated Domains:
Record type | When to use |
---|---|
CNAME | Recommended when you use a subdomain as the main domain for your website. i.e www.example.com or shop.example.com |
A-record | Required for APEX domains (domains without subdomain) if your DNS does not support CNAME flattening at root/APEX |
CNAME
To use CNAME point the domain that is configured for Accelerated Domains to routing.accelerateddomains.com
CNAME => routing.accelerateddomains.com
A-record
To use A-records, point the domain in question to the following IPs:
162.159.153.241
162.159.152.23
